Fondant <\/a><\/strong>icing embossing stamps are becoming a popular item in our ever-increasing product range.

It\u2019s no surprise to be honest given that fondant icing has become so popular. In contrast to the traditional rock hard, royal icing layered over marzipan, fondant is so much more versatile. As this Cake Made blog<\/a> says: \u2018With its malleable structure, smooth texture, and easy transportability, it is hard to imagine a time without fondant in the world of cakery\u2026\u2019

Fondant icing comes ready-to-roll in a variety of colours<\/strong>.<\/a> But you can make your own if you so wish. Here\u2019s a recipe from the patron saint of cooking, Delia Smith.<\/a> <\/strong>If ever you’re struggling with something in the <\/strong>kitchen simply ask yourself: ‘what would Delia do?’ That’s my advice!

In its earliest development stages, fondant dates back to the 1500s. While we\u2019ve not been fondant fiddling for that long we have played around with embossing slogans and stamps for around a year.\u00a0Yep as usual we\u2019re late to the party \u2013 but hey, what\u2019s new?\u00a0So, we figured now is a good time to do some fondant chat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fondant baking products<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The baking market is awash with products with which to make the most of fondant icing. For starter there are embossing sheets a plenty \u2013 sometimes called pattern presses or impression mats.

Then there\u2019s the specific round embossers that you\u2019ll see a lot. Such fondant icing embossing stamps are primarily used as cupcake toppers.\u00a0And most of our stamp embossers fall into that category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What to do if you don\u2019t have an embossing fondant stamp<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s not one bit vital to have an embosser to make a pattern. You could always press (see what I did there?!) into service the ends of your icing tips, or a ruler\/pizza cutter to make circles and stripes. Or you could use small cookie cutters with a light touch to make a pattern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


But what if you want something non-standard?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
